A severe incident occurred in the community of San Francisco Tepojaco, located in the municipality of Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico, where pyrotechnic materials stored inside a vehicle exploded during local patron saint festivities. The detonation caused significant damage and triggered an immediate deployment of first responders to the area.
According to preliminary reports from local emergency services, at least twelve people sustained injuries due to the blast. Multiple victims required urgent medical evacuation and were transported to regional hospitals, several of them listed in serious condition due to the severity of their burn injuries and trauma.
